We have all been very fascinated by the unfairly beautiful looks of our favorite celebrities. Be it your all-time favorite Priyanka Chopra, Mila Kunis or my personal favorite Zendaya. Apart from being one of the best actors in the film industry, these ladies have one more thing in common- great skin. Now, if you’re like me, you will do your digging on the internet and not so subtly stalk these celebrities to find out their skin care regimen and try to incorporate those steps/products into yours. Although, out of my budget, the products do seem to work for these show-stoppers. (I mean, have you seen their glowing skin?)

To begin with, do not rush. Yes, do not rush into experimenting with new skin care products. Take your time to analyze your skin’s needs. What is your skin type? What products suit your skin? And many such questions will help you big-time while deciding on the right skin regimen. If you do not know what your skin type is or what regimen you should follow, take this free Skin ID test.

Anyways, back to the subject: So, when I did my digging (stalking), I found a few common steps/products that all these wonderful celebrities have in common, I decided to list them out for you because your girl knows the value of a good regimen that works. These steps are listed as follows.

Serums:

  • A lot of celebrities have been using all kinds of serums to take care of their skin. Serums are basically the concentrated mix of moisturizing ingredients. These ingredients moisturize your skin and help protect your skin from dryness. Serums are best used before bedtime or before putting on your sunscreen.

    Face Steams:

  • There is no better way to detox your skin than to treat your pores with some good ol’ steam. The hot steam seeps into your pores, opening them up and freeing your skin from dirt, excess oils and pollution. Most celebs use this method to treat their skin to remove the gunk without damaging the skin’s barrier and of course, for the soothing ~feels~.

    Face Masks:

  • Sheet masks, silicone masks,  peel-off masks or clay masks. All masks help you give that ~glow~ to your skin. The best part? They are actually rich with essential vitamins and minerals that help maintain your skin’s health. The result? Better, softer and smoother skin.

    SPF:

  • This is a no-brainer. Your skin needs to be protected from the harsh sun rays at all costs. Celebs, because of their outdoor shoots and other outdoor activities are exposed to sun. Just because you work in an air-conditioned environment does not mean that you can skip this one. A good SPF 35 or SPF 50 should do the job.

    Cleanser:

  • After a hard day’s work and exhaustion, you need to breathe. So does your skin. Celebs understand the power of a gentle cleanser after a long day of packed makeup and other products. A good cleanser should remove all the dirt, oils and pollution from your skin, leaving your skin squeaky clean. Investing in a good cleanser will pay you off in the long-term.
